Wise Aggressive Fund
This fund provides exposure to an internationally diversified portfolio of assets that include emerging markets, global developed markets and Multi Strategy Funds (also known as ‘hedge’ funds or ‘absolute return’ funds). There are no limits to the markets which may be selected.
It is suitable for high risk investors with medium to long term horizons, and investors who are prepared to accept short term fluctuations in return for potentially greater capital gains.
Wise Australian Equity Fund
This fund aims to achieve medium to long term growth by the active management of Australian shares and to out-perform the Australian “All-Ordinaries” index.
The fund’s investment exposure is to a diversified portfolio of listed Australian equity shares focused on major companies plus Australian convertible securities, and may hold cash from time to time depending on market conditions.
Wise Conservative Fund
This fund aims to achieve consistent growth over the medium to long term, with a relatively low risk strategy. The funds investments are dominated by fixed interest investments. Moderate exposure to share investments are included to enhance the fund's overall growth prospects.
Wise Equity Fund
This fund aims to achieve growth through investment in shares on the New Zealand stock exchange, across the full range of both large and smaller sized companies.
Wise European Equity Fund
This fund aims to achieve long term capital growth by focusing on the European Union. This fund invests either directly or via suitable unit trusts or other funds in shares on the major European stock exchanges.
Wise Fixed Interest Fund
This fund aims to achieve sound medium to long term returns by investing in quality long term New Zealand fixed interest securities. Suitable investments include New Zealand government stock, local authority stock, debt issued by New Zealand companies, mortgages and short term deposits.
Wise International Equity Fund
This fund aims to achieve long term capital growth by investing in a diverse range of international share markets around in the world.
Wise Managed Fund
This fund aims to achieve capital growth over the medium to long term with a medium risk strategy. The growth potential of shares is balanced by the less volatile returns produced by fixed interest investments.
Wise North American Equity Fund
This fund aims to achieve long term capital growth by investing in shares on the major share markets of the United States and Canada. The fund invests either directly or via suitable unit trusts or other funds holding shares.
Wise Pacific Equity Fund
This fund aims to achieve medium to long term growth from shares in companies quoted on stock exchanges around the Pacific and Asian Basin. The fund’s investment exposure is to major economies such as Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia, and some cash from time to time depending on market conditions.
Wise UK Equity Fund
This fund aims to achieve medium to long term growth from a diversified portfolio, including equities in companies registered in the United Kingdom with a strong emphasis on well established FTSE 100 companies offering above average capital growth, and sometimes cash. Investments of this fund will not include futures nor options nor high-risk venture capital situations. The fund is permitted to invest up to 30% of its holdings in equities outside the United Kingdom.
