Getting Started
Like most investments, it costs money to establish a VIP Superplan. Initially, half of each regular contribution pays off the initial establishment fee and the other half buys units. Once the establishment fee is fully paid (always less than 18 months) the full amount of your regular contribution will buy units. The establishment fee varies,- ask your adviser for further details. There are no establishment fee for lump sum contributions.

Investment fees
This is 4% of all regular contributions. For lump sums it varies – ask you adviser about it.

4 free fund switches
You can make up to four free switches each calendar year. You can make more switches if you wish but these will cost $25.

$250,001 to $500,000	1.10% p.a.
Over $500,000	1.00% p.a.

If your investment falls below $50,000, the fee will be 1.25% for Capital funds, NZ bonds, Global bonds and NZ large companies funds and 1.75% for all other funds.

Some funds are managed externally. These attract additional fees.
