How much does Superplan 2000 cost?

Getting Started

Like most investments, it costs money to establish a Superplan 2000. So for the first period of your Superplan 2000 - always less than two years - half of your regular contribution pays the initial Establishment Fee. The other half is used to buy units in the managed funds you nominate.

The size of the Establishment Fee is based on a range of factors. Your adviser can provide all the details you need.

After the fee is paid, all your contributions are used to buy units in the fund or funds.

Four Free Switches

Every calendar year you can make four switches between funds, free of charge. After that, each switch costs $25.

Performance Fees

All the funds operate on the basis of performance-based management fees:
- if the fund earns less than 8.5% p.a. your fee is only 0.7% p.a.
- above 8.5% and up to 17% p.a. (before tax), your fee is 1.4% p.a.
- for results higher than 17%, your fee is 2.1% p.a.

Some funds are managed externally. These attract additional management fees.

Plan Fee

This is only charged if your account balance is below $10,000. It is currently $2.50 per month and is linked to the Consumer Price Index.

Investment Fee
An Investment Fee is charged on your regular contributions and lump sums, up to a maximum of 5%.
